6 Month Update

Hi everybody, I just wanted to let you all know what I'm up to these days. About a week and a half ago I started eating some more solid foods. I don't want to go overboard by calling them solid, because they are anything but solid. I started with Gerber Bananas...wow, those taste good, but are terrible three hours later. It makes it hard to sleep after having such a dinner. Since then I've tried rice cereal which I've found has no flavor and I don't have much interest in consuming, so I don't think I will. So yesterday I had sweet potatos. I'm not sure what to think of those. They make a mess of my face and clothing, so that's fun, but the flavor is so so. My favorite is still good old fashioned milk.
I'm a total roll-a-roo these days. I can pretty set my sights on an object and somehow find a way to contort myself and roll to whatever it may be. Typically it's a toy of some sort, especially my green frog square that makes vibrations when I pull a string thing. It's very advanced. The only problem is when I have trouble getting what I want. This usually happens when I'm tired or hungry, I can't help it, I just lose my patience and start yelling! My parents are very astute however and generally come to my aid. I'm getting better at sitting up, but seriously, it makes it hard to roll when I'm sitting up, so I generally don't do that. Standing up is another thing. I like standing up, it makes me feel big. I need a little assistance, but if you just lean me up against something, I'll hang out for a while, I'm just cool like that.
My routine hasn't changed a whole lot lately. I don't know what's going on with me, weather I'm just growing, teething (I put everything in my mouth) or I just get lonely at night, but I don't really sleep all that well lately. A few weeks ago I found out that I can roll over and sleep on my tummy. That was great for a few nights even though it stressed Mom and Dad out. They checked in on me all the time! The problem is that now, I roll all over my crib, get stuck against the sides, and sometimes I even bonk my head on the edge. It's frustrating and ruining my sleep. I know Mom and Dad are a little tired as well. I haven't slept through the night for quite a while now. At least when I wake up and yell loud enough somebody always shows up to snuggle me.
I can tell that something big is about to happen. Mom and Dad planted a tree in the middle of our living room a few weeks back. It has lights and all sort of shiny things that I'd love to get my mitts on. There seems to be more and more boxes of stuff placed underneath it every day. Additionally, Dad put lights all over the front of the house which I like, it's pretty and it lights my room up just a little extra when It's bed time. I'm not sure whats going on, but I know I can't wait to find out.
That's all for now. I'll post more later.

Taylor:)
